RSS Staffing is seeking experienced candidates for Maintenance Mechanics for a manufacturer located in West, Columbus. Immediate Hire!
Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour based on experience
Hours: Training on 1st shift, moving to A, B, C, or D rotating schedule.

Maintain and Repair all equipment throughout the plant. Efficiently adjust and change out tooling on all Thermoformers. Maintain a properly stocked tool box.
Work and make proper decisions without direct supervision.

Must be able to break down and set up all thermoforming production machinery to the standards set for cycle and quality. And be able to clean and prepare all tooling for set up. During a set up it may be required to make minor repairs to the equipment or tooling.
Should be proficient in one or more skills and be familiar with all facets and procedures of plant operations and will be expected to repair faulty production and related plant equipment with a minimum of supervision if no set up or tool repairs are required.
Will be expected to maintain necessary records and recommend modifications and changes to upgrade present machinery and tooling conditions.
Must maintain a full compliment of tools to enable him to perform his normal duties.
Must perform work in a safe manner to personnel and equipment.
Must maintain a good attendance attitude.
Must maintain a good safety record.
Ability to read instrumentation gauges.
Ability to understand and use micro phaser control panel screen.
Ability to recognize, identify and solve problems with the machines without assistance.
Ability to use common sense.
Ability to maintain level head and thought process during a crisis.
Ability to differentiate between " good" and " bad" quality.
Ability to operate a industrial equipment for the majority of your shift.
Ability to climb a ladder.
Ability to stand and walk continuously for majority of your shift.
Ability to perform multiple job activities for a majority of your shift.
Ability to perform job assignments outside (silos, etc.).
