RSS Staffing is seeking Production Associates for a manufacturing facility in Washington Court House, OH.

Position Summary:

Open positions are for production workers. This is an industrial environment. The work area is noisy, has odors of paint and rubber, and working with the product will make hands and uniforms dirty. Machinery creates heat, so some areas of the plant are hot. Could be loading and unloading presses that produce parts for the automotive industry. Could also work in the paint department utilizing spray or brush equipment to coat parts. Could be inspecting, sorting, assembling or packing parts. All positions require a commitment to safety and quality. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Training is provided. Must have good attendance habits. Must have good attitude, stable employment history, a sense of urgency and be willing to learn. This is a fast paced industrial environment. Must have the ability to be self directed. Must be able to read, write, and verbalize in a responsible manner. Must be safety conscious and 18 years of age (minimum). Steel toed shoes are required. Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen.

Working hours are: The “ normal” schedule is a 10 hour shift

1st shift – 5: 00 am – 3: 30 pm + overtime

2nd shift – 3: 30 pm-2 am + overtime

1st Shift Pay: $10.74/hr

2nd Shift Pay: $11.14/hr

26 cent increase after 90 days

Ability to work O.T. is currently expected – shifts can run from 3am-3pm or 3pm to 3 am, as well as 5am-5: 30pm or 5pm-5: 30am

Some schedules are Sunday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Saturday

Flexibility is required. Most new hires will be going to 2nd shift, possibly after training for a week or two on 1st shift. Again, must be flexible.

Must be able to work overtime as required with minimal notice. Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours a day, able to work up to 7 days a week, and must be able to work any shift and change shifts with minimal notice. Attendance is required for all overtime.
